For Practitioners
I provide consultation for practitioners from a broad spectrum of modalities.
Working with clients as whole and complex beings can be challenging in a culture that subdivides people and their challenges. I foster an environment of curiosity and skill-building, so practitioners can feel and trust their own expertise while helping clients feel more agency and success.
What we actually end up working on
How do you know if this is working?
Where are you in the arc of this work, and what does the next stretch ask for?
Are you meeting what this client wants, or what you’ve decided they need?
How do you help someone get more out of the work without making it one more thing they have to do well?
Which of your skills does this moment actually call for?
Most of what I offer isn't a new technique. It's a clearer read on the one you're already using.
This includes psychotherapy, massage therapy, somatic sex education and sexological bodywork, Somatic Experiencing® students and practitioners, acupuncture, mainstream medicine, naturopathy, those working in transformative justice, and more. I'm an approved provider at all levels for both personal sessions and consultations for Somatic Experiencing credit.
Upcoming group consults
All consults can count toward Somatic Experiencing consult credit at all levels.
Individual consults
Consults last one hour and can be for a single practitioner. If two or more practitioners organize it together, I'm happy to consult with multiple people within the hour.
I seek to help professionals identify their own skills, the necessary limits to those skills, trust in themselves, and the ability to recognize the resilience of the client. I approach both treatment planning and specific challenges in a way that is empowering and expansive for all.
